Soundscan is a Dashboard Widget that will monitor your network connections and open files to determine who is connected to your iTunes share, who among them is streaming, and what files are being transmitted.
Soundscan, when running, will:
- display a list of connected users
- indicate in bold the users who are streaming
- display a list of open files
- allow filtering of the track you are currently listening to in iTunes
- announce new connections and tracks being streamed even when the widget is hidden using Growl notifications.

Known issues:
- iPod / iPhone transfers show up on the file list and cause Growl notifications.
- When the Genius feature is transmitting data songs can also show up on the file list and cause Growl notifications.
